THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO SATURDAY 4TH NOVEMBER 2017.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry is hosting the first Medical Education conference aimed at medical students.
The conference theme will be 'How students become teachers'.

Speakers:
1. The representation of women and minority groups in medical curricular - Dr Helen Bintley
2. Neuromyths in Education - Dr Esther Murray
3. Innovative technologies used in medical education - Mr Shafi Ahmed

Students can choose 3 of 6 workshops to attend:
Strand 1:
a) TBA - Dr Helen Bintley and Dr Wendy Lowe
b) Aims, intended learning outcomes, and their role in planning teaching - JASME
Strand 2:
a) Failure and failing in Med Ed - Dr Esther Murray
b) TBA - Mr Shafi Ahmed
Strand 3:
a) Students as teachers in medical education - Janani and Kelvin
b) TBA

Registration of workshops will occur on the day at the front desk.

The deadline for poster submissions is Friday 07/08/2017.

Lunch, refreshments, and certificates provided for attendees.
