Event description

Description

Join us for an evening of talks, discussion, wine and food!

We invite you to join us in welcoming two of IDEA's alumni who will give brief talks on their research into medical ethics, focusing on issues in frontline healthcare and the different definitions of death.

Dr Andrew Stanners will be identifying ethical issues in frontline healthcare, whilst Dr Emily Lindsay will discuss the different definitions of death and the implications that these have on practices such as organ donation. Following these short talks, there will be a chance for a discussion of issues related to these topics.

The evening will conclude with some wine and food, and a chance to chat about medical ethics more generally.

This event is specifically targeted at practising healthcare professionals, especially those interested in hearing more about the IDEA Centre and the courses we offer.

FREE Tickets available via Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/medical-ethics-evening-tickets-54640614549

We hope to see you there!
