MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY CONSOLIDATION AND REVISION
One Day Course

Participants: Administrative staff, reception staff, healthcare support workers and other healthcare professionals who have previously attended Medical Terminology parts 1 to 3.
Aim: This course aims to increase the knowledge and understanding of healthcare support staff to enable them to work more effectively and efficiently.
Objectives: At the end of this course the attendee will have a greater understanding of the body systems covered by the following courses:
- Medical Terminology Day 1
- Medical Terminology Day 2
- Medical Terminology Day 3.
Course Content: The final terminology day. Revision and consolidation of parts 1 to 3, covering the following;
- Common suffixes and prefixes
- Common prefixes
- Pathology
- Orthopaedic
- Abbreviations – test the trainer
- Cardiology
- Respiratory
Funding: Practices @ £78 per person - invoices will be issued in advance

Parking: Please arrive in plenty of time to find a parking space. A pay and display car park on can be found in Sea Street (Little London RCP car park is long stay, Sea Street council car park is only short stay) and on-street parking in surrounding roads.

Cancellation Policy
Please Note: If a booking is cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to the course date, every effort will be made to fill the vacancy from the waiting list. If this is not possible then cancellation charges may apply. If a place is reserved and the delegate fails to attend, the full cost of the course will become payable. Minimum numbers are required in order to ensure that the courses are viable to run.
