Medicann 5K: Your Way — 2026

About the Event

The Island’s award-winning medicinal cannabis clinic, Medicann, is proud to bring back the Medicann 5K: Your Way for its third year, taking place on Sunday 1st February 2026 — just ahead of World Cancer Day (4 February).

This much-loved community event invites Islanders of all ages and abilities to complete a scenic 5K route their way: running, walking, or cycling in support of ABC Jersey, a local organisation helping people affected by cancer.

Since its launch in 2024, the Medicann 5K has raised over £10,000 for local causes, with more than £5,000 raised each year thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of the community.

In Memory of Rose Shepherd

The event was first co-led in 2024 by the late Rose Shepherd, a Medicann patient and cancer thriver whose courage and positivity inspired the creation of the Medicann 5K. Rose passed away earlier this year, but her spirit continues to guide the event and unite participants each year in her honour.

Finish: Elizabeth Ferry Kiosk
Distance: 5 kilometres
Activities: Walk • Run • Cycle

A beautifully scenic coastal route along the Esplanade, suitable for all ages and abilities.

Supporting ABC Jersey

This year’s event proudly supports ABC Jersey. Participants are encouraged to raise or donate at least £100 to help fund their vital work.

Founded in 2019, Medicann is a multi award-winning medicinal cannabis clinic providing care across the Channel Islands for conditions including chronic pain, anxiety, PTSD, sleep disturbances, and symptoms linked to cancer treatment.
