This course will enable attendees to safely administer medicines in accordance with legislation and policies and procedures.

  • Understand the legislation involved with drug administering
  • Describe what medication is and how drugs affect us
  • Follow procedures set for safe administration of medication
  • Correctly use a Medication Administration Record (Mar) sheet
  • Understand the importance of confidentiality and security in all procedures of drug administering
