Description

Gene and Genome Editing Therapy: A new challenge and opportunity in Clinical Medicine

Thursday 28 June 2018, 2.30pm - 7pm, The Francis Crick Institute, London

The new 'Medicine at the Crick' event series aim to showcase major advances in biomedical science and raise awareness of the medical implications of major scientific advances. Interested members of the Crick and wider UK biomedical community are invited to attend.

Each event will comprise a series of short talks, followed by a keynote lecture and a panel discussion. Members of the academic medical press and of the biomedical research community will also be invited.

The inaugural event, "Gene and Genome Editing Therapy: A new challenge and opportunity in Clinical Medicine", will be held on Thursday 28 June 2018, 2.30pm-7pm, at the Francis Crick Institute. The event will be led by Professor Robin Lovell-Badge (The Francis Crick Institute) and the keynote lecture will be given by Professor Matthew Porteus (Stanford University).
