Medieval Karlstejn Castle

We’ll take a trip into the 14th century to the medieval seat of Charles IV, King of Bohemia and the Roman Empire. Majestic was founded 650 years ago by Charles IV, King of Bohemia and of the Roman Empire. The castle was built in the 14th century as a place for safekeeping of royal treasures, especially the coronation jewels. It is located in a picturesque site which is called Dragon's Rock in the middle of dense forests just about an hour drive from Prague. We won’t go inside; all the beauty is outside.
