Take some time for yourself and enjoy creating a space in your day to nourish both body and mind with a mindfulness based, guided meditation session.
This session will be accessible to everyone, whether you are new to meditation and it’s your first time, or you wish to deepen your practice. Our Guided Meditation sessions are welcoming,relaxed and non-judgemental.
During times of high anxiety and fear, sitting and taking this time out can bring some calm relaxation. Participants may be able to continue their day with more clarity and resolve.
Our friendly practitioners, Clunie and Florence, will lead you into a peaceful space from whatever has been happening in your day so far.
You will be guided through an approx 20 minute meditation. This will vary from week to week from a relaxing body scan, a simple sitting sequence or a supportive visualisation.
You may choose to sit or to lie down and join us by listening to the meditation leader helping you to calm your breathing patterns and sink into the present moment. During the whole session you can choose to have your self view video on or off.
The meditation will be followed by a totally optional chat- a time to share how you are feeling, ask any questions, or simply choose to stay silent.
The practitioner will have resources available to signpost you to should you need any additional support.
Due to the current pandemic, all sessions will take place online via Zoom. Costs are on a donation/ pay what you can basis, starting from £1.
