Description

Mindfulness and Meditation have become buzzwords in every walk of life from education to the corporate world - but does it work? Short answer: yes!

If you've ever wondered about what meditation is, why it works and how to do it, this workshop is for you.

We will cover:

  • What meditation is, and what it is not

  • How meditation improves our wellbeing and helps us manage stress

  • Explore a few different meditation practices, including techniques that work well for children

  • Tips on how you can start a simple meditation practice at home

In addition to teaching Kundalini Yoga & Meditation, Sarah has a background in cognitive neuroscience and a particular interest in the effects of meditation on the nervous system, the endocrine system and stress. She has spent the last 7 years exploring meditation in her own practice and observing the benefits to her wellbeing. In this 2 hour workshop, Sarah will share her knowledge, experience and provide you with the tools to kick-start your own meditation journey.
