Meditation Circle - An Introduction to Meditation with Nathan
Overview
This class is open to everyone, regardless of your experience with meditation.
We’ve been running the Monday Meditation drop-ins for a while now, and the feedback has been that starting the week with a space to sit together feels grounding and centring. This new class builds on that, creating a more interactive and guided space to sit together, with in-the-moment guidance and a chance to share what arises.
We’ll come together in a circle. Nathan will guide a meditation, followed by space to share what came up during the practice, whether that’s moments of stillness, distraction, resistance, or insight. We’ll then close with another short period of guided silent sitting.
If you struggle with anxiety, overthinking, or intrusive thoughts, this is a powerful and supportive practice and a great way to bring awareness to blind spots and limiting beliefs that often go unseen.
Nathan has been practising this form of meditation for over 15 years with his teacher, Mooji. It’s a practice that has profoundly shifted his relationship with the mind and deepened his understanding of presence.
He has begun mentoring people one-to-one, helping them bring more awareness into their daily lives, and now offers this in a group setting for those who wish to explore together.
Most people approach meditation as something to achieve trying to focus harder, breathe deeper, or reach a peaceful state.
In this practice meditation is less about achieving, concentrating or striving for peace it’s more about becoming aware of whats happening in the mind or body without being pulled into it, cultivating an awareness.
