Weekly Meditations for Personal Transformation
Although we all want to be happy all the time, we constantly find ourself weighed down, trapped, and hurt by the enemy of difficult emotions. Jealousy, for example, can feel like a thorn piercing our heart; anger can darken our entire life, trapping us in a negative cycle of conflict and hurt; and uncontrolled desire can condemn us to an endless treadmill of craving and dissatisfaction. These difficult emotions disturb our sleep, damage our relationships, and create an underlying and almost constant sense of unease as we go about our day. And yet, try as we might, we cannot overcome them.
But Buddha taught that, if we employ the right methods, it is possible not only to reduce these difficult emotions, but to let go of them completely.
Each class includes guided meditations, a talk, and time for questions. No previous experience is needed.
With over 30 years of experience, Kadam John is a joyful and inspiring teacher. Known for his practical advice and compassionate clarity, he makes profound Buddhist teachings accessible and relevant to modern London life.
