This course will give you the ideal conditions to unwind and clear your mind, reduce the stress of daily life and tap into your own lasting source of inner peace. Meditation is an effective way to deal with negative states of mind and create a sense of peace and mental freedom. By learning to identify the actual causes of our problems, we can begin to understand how to become free from them.
General information
Everyone is welcome to attend and no experience of meditation is needed. The course comprises two one-hour sessions with a coffee/tea break with a chance to ask questions and browse our book stall. Each session includes a practical talk to help your meditation experience as well as two relaxing guided meditations.
The course will be taught by experienced Meditation Teacher Sue Leeks who has been practising and teaching meditation for over 16 years.
Seating is on chairs and no special clothing is required. The room is upstairs and has full disabled access via a lift.
