Meditation Discovered

Meditation Discovered

By Saint Columba's House

Overview

Meditation helps us grow in acceptance of ourselves and teaches us how to live in harmony with life. Lunch included.

Why Meditate?

It supports our health and wellbeing. Doctors often ask, "Do you meditate?" because of the wonderful side effects. Meditation can help lower blood pressure, reduce stress, improve mental wellbeing and give us practical ways to cope with what goes on in life.

As Christians, meditation can also deepen our spiritual journey. It gently leads us back home to ourselves, where we feel we belong and into a deeper connection with God. Meditation is a humbling experience. It invites us to surrender all that we are to God.

This day is suitable for everyone. All are welcome.
