Description

From a grounding in the Mindfulness of Breathing practice, we’ll go on to explore just sitting - a simple, even sublime approach to meditation which is particularly important in Zen Buddhism. We let go of technique, let go of any attempt to attain some special state of mind, any ‘cat and mouse’ game of trying to drive out the ‘bad’ with the ‘good’. Being with our experience in this way, we come to see everything as completely ordinary - and completely free.

Please note: this course is open to anyone with at least six months’ experience of regular practice of the Mindfulness of Breathing and Metta Bhavana. Participants need to be able to sit without guidance for 45 minutes.
