There is more to Yoga than meets the eye.

“𝒀𝒐𝒈𝒂 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑰𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒅𝒖𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒐𝒖𝒍 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒐𝒖𝒍”

Learn about the yogic way of life, designed for our all round self-development: physical, mental & spiritual.

Besides Meditation and Asanas, there are more yogic practices that contribute towards the balance between body, mind and spirit. We should consider aspects such as:

– 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐭, because what we eat becomes our body, but it also influences our emotions and state of mind.

– 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, so that our body and organs get time to rest, clean and heal themselves, while the mind is refreshed and purified.

– 𝐘𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬, Yama & Niyama, are the compass to conduct ourselves in the inner and outer world. They are what ultimately make practicing meditation possible.

– 𝐀𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐬, to maintain harmony between body and mind by regulating hormonal secretions, making meditation easier.

– 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐯𝐚, for courage, overcoming stagnancy and enhancing memory; the dance of manliness.

– 𝐊𝐚𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐤𝐢𝐢, for overcoming complexes, strengthening the nerves and curing 22 types of diseases. Good for women and men.

– 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞, because we do not live only for ourselves. We ought to consider the welfare of all.

– 𝐊𝐢𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧, to prepare the mind for meditation, to dispel fears, worries and doubts, to experience divine bliss and to help in the spiritual elevation of the collective.

– 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, the tool to knowing who we are and being in our permanent shelter.

Refreshments available and the end of the event we will share a tasty plant based lunch.
