In this gentle and meditative charcoal drawing session, we explore Soft Light—a quality of light that dissolves boundaries, softens the mind, and reconnects us with a deep, nourishing stillness within.
Inspired by the healing approach of Liane Collot d’Herbois and the spiritual science of Rudolf Steiner, this workshop offers more than technique. It is an invitation to experience the soul language of light and darkness—not as opposites, but as companions in your inner healing journey.
Through charcoal drawing, you will learn to let go of harsh thoughts, slow down your nervous system, and enter a restfulness that supports mental clarity, emotional release, and inner reconnection.
What is Soft Light?
Soft Light is the light of moonrise, mist, and memory. It emerges from a distant source, gently diffusing through space, with no sharp contrasts or rigid outlines—only subtle transitions, delicate shifts, and a feeling of expansion.
In this quality of light:
- Darkness is not threatening—it becomes embracing, spacious, and supportive
- Light doesn't pierce—it caresses and soothes
- Your drawings will not depict objects, but evoke atmospheres, moods, and inner landscapes
