About this Event

Time: 8pm via Zoom (1.5 hours)

Join us this October to watch, listen and take part in peer-to-peer discussions surrounding specific topics, regulatory aspects and best practices for Responsible Officers, Medical Directors and other key stakeholders in Healthcare Governance.

Since their launch in 2019, our Governance Matters Webinars are gaining in popularity amongst the healthcare community, as they provide a unique opportunity to hear opinions and gain insights into topics affecting medical regulation in the UK.

Suitable for:

All Responsible Officers, Medical Directors and stakeholders in medical governance, working with any Designated Body or Healthcare Organisation.

Responsible Officers require regular updates of changes in policies coming from NHS-E and GMC.

Updates from regular RO network meetings are usually the only opportunity to be informed of these changes, however, it is not always possible to attend all these meetings.

Although these regular network meetings are useful for updates and networking, many of the complex issues that many Responsible Officers face are rarely discussed.

All Responsible Officers and Medical Directors from Designated Bodies are required to attend Responsible Officer Training, however, there is no refresher training offered.

Your Training Facilitators

Your facilitators are independent Responsible Officers; Dr Frank O’Kelly and Dr Karim Stavron. They will chair the discussions surrounding new guidance and share knowledge-based learning to support the continuation of best practices and quality assurance across the UK healthcare sector.

The webinars are held quarterly via Zoom, up to 50 delegates can attend at a time. For those registering for the webinar, an invitation to attend with a link to join the webinar will be sent out prior to the event through Eventbrite. The webinars last for approximately 1 hour, 30 minutes. A certificate will be provided for each participant attending and provide 1.5 hours of CPD.

How to Register:

These webinars are free of charge. To register to attend - click on the register link within this page and complete your information. We will receive a notification that you have registered. Event reminders and joining instructions will be emailed to all registrants prior to the scheduled webinar.
