The session provides an overview of the University of Central Lancashire’s capabilities in health innovation including its MedTech solutions group that provides rapid development of technologies and products, as demonstrated through the coronavirus pandemic.

The session also highlights the University’s and Innovation Agency's commercial support programme (Lancashire Health MATTERS) designed to connect Lancashire businesses with NHS and social care providers and commissioners. Peter Leather (Head of IP and Commercialisation) will set out how the programme offers access to key decision makers, product evaluations, commercial and procurement advice, adoption support and access to funding.

The session will also include time for audience Q & A.
