About the Event
Step into the flow — that immersive state where time slows, focus sharpens, and creativity moves like water.
This Flow Jam invites musicians, sound artists, academics, and curious listeners to create together. We’ll weave live improvisation with field recordings from Medway and beyond — from riverbanks and forests to urban streets and hidden soundscapes.
Part of a wider musical research project, this jam explores:
- The connection between flow-states and music-making
- How ADHD creativity can bring new perspectives
- Our relationship with the more-than-human world in the context of the climate emergency
