Description
Meeples Summit is a tabletop gaming convention at The Summit in Scarborough. There will be two large halls full of open gaming with a packed games library to borrow from, organised tournaments with prize support, a charity raffle, a relaxing coffee lounge, and more.
Beginning on the Friday with a cosy evening of gaming with teas & coffees from The Hub Coffee Lounge, the weekend is packed with activities for everyone, from the most casual interest to the dedicated gamer.
On Saturday morning, everything will be happening - local retailers will be offering exclusive deals on the latest in tabletop gaming, The Hub will be open for food & drink, and friendly volunteers will be running demos of some of the best experiences our hobby has to offer.
The final day of the convention is Sunday, wrapping up with more open gaming, bring 'n' buy, and more. If you got wrapped up in the excitement of Saturday, this is your chance to wind down and play some more games with your friends - the ones you came with, or perhaps the ones you made along the way.

Organiser of Meeples Summit 2020
Meeples is a modern board games club that meets twice monthly at The Summit on St Nicholas Street. We're friendly, inclusive and passionate about people. We play a wide variety of games, from casual family games to heavy competitive wargames! We have a library opf games that's always growing, and members are encouraged to bring their own if they want to introduce friends to a new experience. Here's a rundown of the regular times we play:
Meeples
Each month we get together, meet new people and old friends to gather round a table and enjoy some fantastic games as well as each other's company. Bring your own games or play one of the many we have at the club. The Hub will be open for refreshments! The club runs from 11am – 6pm on the first Saturday each month. Charge: £1.50.
Meeples Café
With a slightly more chilled out atmosphere, Meeples takes over The Hub at 7pm – 10pm the third Tuesday each month. Social party games and quick-to-learn dexterity games are often favourites here, and many come just for the company and the coffee. The evening session is free!
The Hub
In addition, our collection of boardgames are available for anyone to play whenever The Hub is open! Grab a friend, get the brews in, and play some fantastic games.
