Dates for Airport Pick-up in 2022

The team will be welcoming arrivals at Heathrow and Gatwick airports between 7am and 8pm on the following dates

Saturday 17th September 2022

Deadlines for booking Meet & Greet

Please note that bookings for each date will close as follows so be sure to secure your place well in advance

Tuesday 13th September 2022 - deadline is 6 September at 22.00 BST

Wednesday 14th September 2022 - deadline is 7 September at 22.00 BST

Saturday 17th September 2022 - deadline is 10 September at 22.00 BST

Where will you meet me when I arrive?

Exact details of where to meet at the airport and how to contact our team will be sent to the email address you provide when you register. Emails will be sent at least 72 hours before you arrive in the UK.

Can I use the service if I'm staying in off-campus accommodation?

Yes, you can still use the service which will transport you from either Heathrow or Gatwick Airports to the University's main Stag Hill campus. However, you will then need to make/pre-plan your own travel arrangements from the Stag Hill campus to your own off-campus accommodation.

Family Members

Unfortunately, this year we are unable to offer our Meet & Greet service to accompanying family members and therefore the service is reserved for arriving students. If you or your family members need to make alternative arrangements, please see here for all of the options for travelling to the University from both Heathrow and Gatwick airports:

Do I need to self-isolate when I arrive in the UK?

There is currently no requirement to self-isolate or take any Covid-19 tests before entering the UK. Other countries may have different rules for leaving to travel to the UK so please check the travel advice from the country you are travelling from.
