Meet, Greet and Eat with Scholars from Palestine

We're delighted to meet young scholars from Palestine and their leaders as part of the Beyond the Checkpoints project , where they will attend youth clubs, churches, art and drama activities.

These young people will mix with attendees to converse about the trauma of life under occupation. Some have been forced to leave Jenin camp which was destroyed by the army. Many from the Bethlehem area and Jerusalem suburbs have experiences of separation walls;some in Silwan even had their community centre knocked down by bulldozers. Despite the trauma, these trips are about hope. (The activity complies with relevant UK legislation.)
