Sculpture Placement Group (SPG) warmly invites you to an evening of exchange with local artists and creatives who are keen to connect with organisations like yours.
Whether you're interested in commissioning artwork, borrowing sculptures for your spaces, or simply exploring how creativity can enhance your work, this event is a great opportunity to discover what the local arts community has to offer.
What to expect:The event will follow a relaxed “speed networking” format, where you'll meet a range of artists for short conversations, rotating every few minutes. It’s a fun and informal way to make connections, spark ideas, and explore future collaborations.
We're hosting this event as part of the relaunch of SPG Loan - our unique sculpture rental service that allows organisations to borrow artworks directly from artists. It’s a flexible and accessible way to bring creativity into your environment, support the arts, and engage your staff or audiences.
Why attend?
- Discover local artistic talent
- Explore potential commissions, loans, or creative partnerships
- Learn more about SPG Loan and how your organisation can benefit

If you're curious about borrowing artwork - or simply want to meet the artists shaping your local creative landscape - we’d love to see you there.
Advice for the Event
- You will have 5 mins for each encounter so have a think about how you’d like to introduce yourself, your organisation and the team you work with
- It is useful to share information about the sorts of creative partnerships that you might be interested in- examples could be workshops or talks for your team or the loan of a work for your office or public space
- If you have worked with creative people in the past it might be good to share your experiences of this and any positive experiences that may have come out of this
- Have a think and take a quick note of details of anyone that you would like to meet again as this information will be compiled at the end of the event
