From volcanoes to global warming we see how Geologist use rocks as clues to discover what the Earth’s past was like, and what that can tell us about life in the future! See what happens when you abseil into a volcano and learn more about the most powerful forces on the planet.

Developed specially for The Invention Rooms for families in White City, these Meet Our Scientists online sessions are a great way to learn about our science in a fun, relaxed way and ask scientists your questions.

As well as meeting our scientists you can test your knowledge in our Earth Quiz and use our activity sheet to plan your lava flow experiment later at home! You can then share your creations @InventionRooms on Twitter.

Aimed at 6 – 12 years, this activity is completely free for families.

For safeguarding reasons adults must purchase tickets. You only need to book one ticket per family to join in. After purchasing your free ticket you will be sent additional details and the Zoom link.
