About this event

Health • Mental health

Getting outside for a chat is great for our mental wellbeing.

The purpose of this stroll is simply to connect with other humans. If you don’t feel like chatting, that’s absolutely ok too. You’re very welcome to just enjoy the fresh air, move at your own pace, and take in the surroundings. No pressure, just a gentle walk together.

This time, we’ll be walking from Haddenham to the Seven Stars pub in Dinton (and back) - a mix of tarmac and muddy countryside paths. Our route may include some parts which can be uneven or slippery depending on the weather.

The stroll/walk itself will be relatively easy and takes around 50 minutes from Haddenham to the Seven Stars. Meeting outside Tickety Brew on Banks Parade, Haddeham for 11am. We aim to get to Seven Stars at 12pm to stop for a cup of tea/light refreshment for up to 30mins, then we will walk back to Haddenham. Alternatively you can choose to stay and have some food (booking is recommended if so).

Come and go as you need, you’re welcome to join or leave at any point, though please note I won’t be checking my phone during the walk, so I won’t be able to update you on our location once we’ve set off.

To help with planning, please book your spot via Eventbrite so I know to expect you.

Dogs are welcome, just be aware there may be other dogs joining, so please use your judgement about what works best for your dog, especially at the pub (dogs outside). Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a supervising adult.

I'm looking forward to seeing you there,

Kas
