About this event
Getting outside for a chat is great for our mental wellbeing.
The purpose of this stroll is simply to connect with other humans. If you don’t feel like chatting, that’s absolutely ok too. You’re very welcome to just enjoy the fresh air, move at your own pace, and take in the surroundings. No pressure, no expectations, just a gentle walk together.
This time, we’ll be walking around Wendover Woods - a mix of gravel forest paths and muddy countryside paths. Our route may include some parts which can be uneven or muddy depending on the weather.
Allow time for driving up the hill and parking, and we'll meet outside the Wendover Woods cafe entrance at 9:30am. There are toilets there also.
The stroll/walk itself will be relatively easy with some slight hill inclines and declines - but nothing alarmingly steep (hello Coombe Hill walk from the other month!) Plus we will be going at a light pace. The walk will take around 90 minutes and you can choose to stay and have a cup of tea afterwards.
Come and go as you need, you’re welcome to join or leave at any point, though please note I won’t be checking my phone during the walk, so I won’t be able to update you on our location once we’ve set off.
To help with planning, please book your spot via Eventbrite so I know to expect you.
Dogs are very welcome! Just be aware there may be other dogs joining, so please use your judgement about what works best for your dog. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a supervising adult.
Please note that parking costs around £3.50 for 2 hours.
I'm looking forward to seeing you there,
Kas
