Meet the Author: Alan Bissett

Alan, a former teacher at Elgin Academy, is best known for his debut novel Boyracers and the long-running play The Moira Monologues. His newest work, LADS, is a timely and powerful guide for young men exploring themes of positive masculinity, boundaries, consent, and respectful relationships.

Described by The Lanarkshire Post as “Topical, timely and like nothing published before,” LADS has sparked important conversations in schools across the UK. Now, Alan brings that conversation to UHI Moray.
