Meet the Author: Anna Beer

Join us to meet local author Anna Beer as she introduces her debut novel Death of an Englishman. Described by some reviewers as a high octane jaunt full of laughter and wisdom, by others as gripping, atmospheric and pleasingly twisty, the novel is a captivating read. Anna is an established author of academic publications and of biographies of Milton, Raleigh and Shakespeare but also of feisty and talented female creatives.

This novel features another strong female character Eve who is at the heart of solving this murder mystery. Based in Oxford, Eve sets out to find a missing manuscript and then finds herself exploring the possibility that the rather obnoxious author was murdered, but if so who by? There are several plausible candidates!
