Meet the Buyer Surgeries
Thursday, 9 October 2014 from 11:00 to 15:00 (BST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Burcote Wind are a progressive renewable energy company, with a strong focus on helping to create economically and socially sustainable communities as a result of our projects. This does not only mean being more environmentally friendly, but also ensuring that our investment is used for the long-term benefit of communities.
Our 30 turbine (90MW) Sandy Knowe wind farm, near Sanquhar and Kirkconnel & Kelloholm, is now in the final stages of the planning process. The Planning Applications Committee of Dumfries & Galloway Council decided at their meeting in July not to object to the development. Although the final decision as to whether or not to approve the scheme will be taken by the Scottish Government, we want to make sure we are in a position to move quickly should the project be given final approval.
Because of this, we want to hear directly from local businesses about how they might be able to be involved in the construction of the Sandy Knowe project, as well as to answer questions from them about what we can do to help them be successful in securing contracts.
We hope you will come to the “Meet the Buyer” session we have organised in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and look forward to hearing more about how your business could be involved in the future.
These are one to one meetings with just your business and staff from Burcote Wind where you can set out what services you can provide and ask any questions you may have. You may bring along a colleague if you wish.
