Meet the Founders: Women & Fundraising

Join us to demystify the topics around business funding and build your knowledge around what options would be most suitable for you, if and when you need to take on funds.

Our event is in association with Telegraph Women and in support of charity Founders4Schools, which connects women business leaders with schools. To date, they have facilitated 490,554 student encounters – that is almost half a million pupils who have been inspired by a business leader in their classroom.

Funding can be anything from borrowing money from friends and family, to bank loans, grants and angel investment to institutional investment.

Knowing about funding is applicable for businesses of all shapes and sizes — not just for big businesses or tomorrow’s unicorns.

At our event we will hear from a panel of women who have firsthand experience of all types of funding, and the punches they have rolled with along the way.

We will also touch on questions around how to know what your company is worth, the risks involved with taking on external funding and how investment can help you grow.

The evening will also feature an inspirational showcase of women-led brands, with an opportunity to meet the founders and experience the innovation and creativity of their businesses.

Your ticket fee includes delicious salad rolls from Kaleido (as seen at Selfridges), sweet treats from Good Cake Day and flowing Thomson & Scott bubbles.

You will also have an opportunity to experience the beautiful products from Belinda Robertson Cashmere, Sarah Haran UK, Yogi Bare and Scentered.
