About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Discover how BBC Children in Need's Emergency Essentials Programme, delivered by the Family Fund Services, offers grants directly to children and young people in need of critical items - from a bed to sleep in, to clothing, cookers, and more. The event will also cover how to apply and will provide the opportunity to meet your local referral officer.

What you will take away from this event

We will be joined by Emma Walton, Children in Need Referrer Engagement Officer from Family Fund Business Services, who will give an overview of the programme, as well as some key hints and tips for those applying. There will also be the opportunity to ask any questions you have directly.

By the end of the session, you will have a greater understanding of what it is like to work with a national funder, in this case BBC Children in Need, and have an insight into how national funders are looking to support smaller local charities and not-for-profit organisations.
