This session will provide an overview of Dorset Council’s Community and Culture Project Fund round 3, presented by Ian Wells (Dorset Council Grants Monitoring Officer).

The fund is aimed at ‘not for profit’ community groups and provides small grants to organisations wishing to secure funding to ‘kick start’ new activities that benefit the local community. The fund is focussed on supporting residents and those groups that are marginalised, disadvantaged or hard to reach.

Groups can apply for between £1,000 and £5,000 and the activity or event must take place in the Dorset Council area. Successful applications will need to be able to start delivering from August 2022.

Community groups that are newly established (formed within the last 12 months) are also eligible to apply for up to £1,500 provided they have as a minimum a constitution and a current bank account.

The closing date for receipt of applications is Monday 27 June 2022.
