About this event
Richmond CVS is delighted to be hosting an online meet the funder event in partnership with the Mayor of London’s Culture and Creative Industries team, Kingston Voluntary Action and Croydon Voluntary Action.
Join us to find out more about two key funds:
Untold Stories is a £1m funding programme to support community-led organisations make a change in their public spaces. It is part of the Commission for Diversity in the Public Realm, one of the Mayor’s flagship commitments to cementing London’s reputation as a diverse, global city.
Community-led organisations are invited to apply for grants to help develop and deliver projects that increase diversity in London’s public spaces. Whether this is creating something new, highlighting something missing or hidden, or presenting a different story to what already exists.
Round 2 is now open for applications with a deadline of 5 October 2022. Take a look at what was funded in Round 1.
Building Strong Communities Fund
The Mayor of London is offering funding for the capital's voluntary and community organisations to enable community-led projects that help to meet at least one of the following outcomes:
- Londoners are supported to shape their communities post COVID-19.
- Unheard voices are amplified and heard so that communities have influence and control over decisions.
- Feelings of belonging are increased; loneliness and social isolation are decreased.
- Feelings of connection within and across communities are strengthened.
Round 2 is now open for applications with a deadline of 8 August 2022.
Join us to hear more about both funds and ask your questions.
