Looking to reduce your energy bills? Keen to work with the wider community and find cross cutting solutions to local issues? Want to improve the quality of the area you operate in?
Join Sported’s Sustainability Lead, Jo Deagle, and Sport England’s Sustainability Team for this one-hour webinar.
What you’ll learn
You will learn about Sport England’s £160 million Movement Fund of which around 10% has been allocated for initiatives that help grassroots sport respond to climate change and which benefit sport and physical activity in the community.
You will hear:
- How the Fund aligns with Sport England’s Every Move Strategy to create positive change through sport
- Eligibility criteria of the Fund – what makes a strong application
- Real-life examples of successful (and unsuccessful) projects – what works, what doesn’t, and why
Who is this for?
- Groups based in England that are looking for funding to support their community and local environment
- Groups who are looking to apply to Sport England’s Movement Fund and want to know if their proposed application would be eligible.
There are many actions and ideas that can help us reduce our costs, improve health and wellbeing, and protect and enhance the local environment all while benefiting physical activity.
There will be opportunities during the session to discuss your ideas for applications. Please share ahead of the event by sending a summary to Jo Deagle: j.deagle@sported.org.uk. You can choose to add your name and organisation or request that you remain anonymous.
