Join this session to hear directly from the Lottery community fund about the new 'Mind Our Future' fund, and the application process.

Its also an opportunity to connect with other organisations who may be interested in collaborating together in a local bid.

The 'Mind Our Future' fund is a £10 million grant programme to put young people in the lead so that they can imagine and create a more resilient and mentally healthy future for young people in Wales.

Its focus and aims have been co-designed with the Young People in the Lead Team, a team of young people from across Wales.

Successful bids will see third sector organisations working collaboratively with a statutory agency to develop a project towards the programme aims by empowering young people to:

create and implement a vision for a more resilient and mentally healthy future for young people in their community
design and develop new solution-focussed approaches to young people’s mental health and resilience, with a focus on:
addressing mental health inequalities that were highlighted and made worse by the COVID-19 pandemic
designing new ways to prevent mental health problems from developing or getting worse, and ensure young people get the right support at the right time, wherever they turn for help
strengthening young people’s long-term access to resilience assets in their lives and communities
bringing lasting changes that increase the ability of systems and/or communities to build young people’s resilience and tackle the root causes of mental health problems and adversity.

Bydd ceisiadau llwyddiannus yn golygu bod sefydliadau'r trydydd sector yn cydweithio ag asiantaeth statudol i ddatblygu prosiect tuag at nodau'r rhaglen drwy rymuso pobl ifanc i:

creu a gweithredu gweledigaeth ar gyfer dyfodol mwy gwydn a meddyliol iach i bobl ifanc yn eu cymuned
dylunio a datblygu dulliau newydd sy'n canolbwyntio ar atebion o ran iechyd meddwl a gwydnwch pobl ifanc, gan ganolbwyntio ar:
mynd i'r afael ag anghydraddoldebau iechyd meddwl a amlygwyd ac a waethygwyd gan bandemig COVID-19
dylunio ffyrdd newydd o atal problemau iechyd meddwl rhag datblygu neu waethygu, a sicrhau bod pobl ifanc yn cael y cymorth cywir ar yr adeg iawn, lle bynnag y byddant yn troi am gymorth
cryfhau mynediad hirdymor pobl ifanc at asedau gwydnwch yn eu bywydau a'u cymunedau
dod â newidiadau parhaol sy'n cynyddu gallu systemau a/neu gymunedau i adeiladu gwytnwch pobl ifanc a mynd i'r afael ag achosion sylfaenol problemau iechyd meddwl ac adfyd.
