Event description

Description

This is a great opportunity to meet three funders, The National Lottery Community Fund, The Lloyds Bank Foundation and The Childhood Trust during an interactive event at CVA!

- We will start with presentations by the three funders with a Q & A time (10.15-12.00 noon); this session is open to all.

- This will be followed by an opportunity for groups with a detailed finalised draft project proposal to have 1:1 sessions with each of the funders (12.30-14.00). There is only space for 10 groups to be seen (5 per funder) so advanced booking is ESSENTIAL. Places are offered on a first come first served basis. To register your group for a one to one session email kay.rhodes@cvalive.org.uk by 16th December 2019.

Information about the funders:

The National Lottery Community Fund (TNLCF); how can The National Lottery Community Fund help you to make a difference in your community?

  • TNLCF 'Reaching Communities and Partnerships' funding streams are for proposals over £10,000. Reaching Communities and Partnerships offer flexible funding for up to 5 years for organisations in England that want to take action on the issues that matter to people and communities.
  • Reaching Communities offers funding for individual organisations. We also recognise a lot of people want to work together to achieve their goals which is where Partnerships funding can help – Partnerships funding is for people who want to work and develop ideas together with others, to start with the bigger picture and share responsibility in order to achieve shared objectives. Further information can be found at https://www.tnlcommunityfund.org.uk/funding/programmes/reaching-communities-england

The Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales works with registered charities (with an income of between £25,000 and £1m) who are working directly with people experiencing complex social issues, helping them to achieve positive lasting change. For more information on the Foundation and its funding, support programmes and its wider work, please visit their website: https://www.lloydsbankfoundation.org.uk/

The Childhood Trust

The Childhood Trust supports charities working with children and young people living in poverty across London to run fundraising campaigns and leverages match-funding for the funds raised. There are two campaigns through the year: the Summer Give (for projects taking place during any school holidays) and the Christmas Challenge (for projects throughout the year). Charities must have an income of at least £25,000. To find out more, please visit our website: https://www.childhoodtrust.org.uk/charity-partners-wishing-to-apply-for-funding
