We are a family business based in the village of Jackton, Lanarkshire. David and Natalie are the Dad and Daughter art team who have drawn over 100 iconic Scottish locations and produce the art as prints and a gift range. David draws the detailed foreground of our art in pen and pencil, Natalie, is our Digital artist, using photographs to add coloured backgrounds to our work and give them a contemporary feel.
Frances and Adam complete our team and are heavily involved in events, packaging, website and social media and all the other jobs a growing family business has to do! We started Jackton Art one rainy Sunday during the 2020 pandemic lockdown. I drew the church where my parents married as an anniversary gift. The reaction was amazing, “You drew this? Really?!!” The idea of Jackton Art was born to produce drawings of Scotland that bring back memories and emotions of special places.
Jackton Art will be at Culloden Battlefield Visitor Centre from 10am-3pm to chat with visitors about their art, the Scottish inspiration, and the process of creating it!
