After a fire to their production in April this year; Buck and Birch have bounced back in production and we are happy to support them with this Meet the Maker.
Buck & Birch is a Scottish brand founded in 2012 by Rupert Waites and Thomas Chisholm in East Lothian. The company is renowned for its commitment to creating unique spirits and liqueurs inspired by Scotland's natural landscape, emphasizing sustainability and the use of foraged, wild ingredients. Their product range includes:
- Aelder Elixir: A whisky-infused liqueur featuring wild elderberries, celebrated for its rich and complex flavor.
- Amarosa: An aromatic rosehip liqueur that has earned a Great Taste star for its distinctive taste.
- Birch Wild Botanical Vodka: Crafted from sustainably harvested birch sap, this vodka offers a unique flavor profile and was awarded 'Grown in Britain' status in November 2024.
Beyond their products, Buck & Birch offers immersive experiences such as The Tasting Room tours at their East Lothian headquarters, where visitors can learn about their foraging practices and sample their creations.
On Sunday 31st August 2025, Buck & Birch will host a "Meet the Maker" event at Bonnie & Wild, providing attendees with an opportunity to delve deeper into the brand's ethos. Guests will have the chance to:

- Sample a selection of their distinctive spirits and liqueurs.
