At Rarity, we are thrilled to announce an exclusive tasting experience featuring Edinburgh Gin on Monday 25th August.
Edinburgh Gin is the Official Gin of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, so quite rightly, we had to have Edinburgh Gin represented here at Rarity during the month of August when the Edinburgh Fringe happens.
Edinburgh Gin is a premium Scottish gin brand known for its rich heritage and innovative approach to distillation. The distillery uses a unique combination of botanicals sourced from the heart of Edinburgh and further afield, creating a diverse range of gins celebrated for their distinctive flavors.
The Meet the Maker event at Bonnie and Wild on the Monday 25th August offers gin lovers a fantastic opportunity to engage with one of Edinburgh Gin's representatives. Attendees will delve into the brand’s history and production process, gaining insights into what makes their gins stand out. The event will also feature a tasting session, where visitors can sample a few different flavours of Edinburgh Gins.
The Gins we are sampling:
- Seaside: Reminsicent of the Edinburgh Seaside; this Gin contains some botancials foraged from the seaside. Tasting notes represent the coastal mineralistic from these botanicals and also has some sweetness.
- Strawberry and Pink Peppercorn: Flavoured using fresh Scottish strawberries - this jammy and fruity gin has a bit of a kick from the Pink Peppercorns. An unusual combination that works.
