At Rarity, we are excited to announce an exclusive tasting experience featuring Highland Park whisky on Saturday 9th August.
Highland Park is a renowned whisky distillery located on the Orkney Islands, famous for its rich heritage and exceptional craftsmanship. It is owned by Edrington, a prestigious spirits company known for producing high-quality brands. Edrington also owns The Macallan.
Established in 1798, Highland Park has earned a reputation for crafting remarkable spirits that beautifully blend smoky and sweet profiles, embodying the rich heritage of its North Atlantic origins.
Highland Park celebrates the unique, subtly smoky flavour of Orkney heathered peat, which is sustainably sourced from Hobbister Moor, where heather has been growing for thousands of years. Highland Park is the only distillery in the world that uses Orkney heathered peat, and you can taste it in every bottle. This peat adds a subtle hint of smoke that delicately balances but never overpowers, the complex flavours of our whisky.
During our tasting event, attendees can look forward to:
