On Tuesday 26th August, we are welcoming Rare Find Independant Bottlings of Whisky from Rare Find.
On Tuesday, we are sampling some of their Spring and Summer Release, from their 10th year of doing these Seasonal Releases, featuring unique 'firsts' in the brands' continuing journey. Showcasing four exceptional Scotch single malt whiskies, including a debut from Glen Ord, a collaborative team selection, and a peated Lowland.
The four exceptional whiskies on show will be;
- Glen Ord - Marking the first Glen Ord ever to be released by Rare Find, this exquisite Highland single malt has been given a sophisticated twist by the Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine imparted during maturation. Adding rich berry notes to the signature malt character.
- Glen Garioch 16-year-old - A milestone selection, this marks the first cask chosen collaboratively by the entire Rare Find team. Finished in a Spanish Ribera del Duero wine cask, it delivers a deep, complex profile with layers of dark fruit and spice.
- Annandale 6-year-old - Rare Find chose a Peated Annandale, a Lowland distillery, to showcase the impact of maturation on smaller casks. This Annandale has been re-racked from an oloroso butt into a oloroso-seasoned barrique; influencing this Annandale to have a lovely combination of smoke and sherry.
- Glenglassaugh 11-year-old - This marks Rare Find's second time releasing a Glenglassaugh however this time it is matured in a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru wine cask. Maintaining Glenglassaugh's coastal character with additional fruity notes.
On Tuesday 26th August , 2025, Gleann Mor Spirits will host a sampling of their Rare Find Spring Releases at Bonnie & Wild in Edinburgh. Attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Learn about Gleann Mor Spirit Company's brands of Rare Find Whisky along with their history, journey & ethos.
- Sample some of the Rare Find Spring and Summer Selection including Glen Ord 10-year-old, Glen Garioch 16-year-old, Glenglassaugh 11-year-old and Annandale 6-year-old.
- Engage with Gleann Mor Spirit Company, gaining insights into their unrepeatable Rare Find limited releases.
This event offers a unique opportunity to explore the rich heritage and craftsmanship behind Gleann Mor Spirit's products, providing a deeper understanding of their products and the story of their creation.
