Event description

Description

The UK election results threw up some unexpected outcomes for all of the UK. We have a minority government in the UK which has only recently signed an agreement with the DUP. In Scotland the Conservatives made significant gains at the expense of the SNP and the Labour party’s predicted demise did not follow through.

Join us for an evening of discussion with political editors David Clegg of the Daily Record, Chris Musson of The Scottish Sun and Lynsey Bews of the Press Association.

Our political pundits will reflect on the outcome of the General Election on June 8, and what challenges will confront SNP and its leader Nicola Sturgeon. Also on the table for discussion will be what to expect looking forward to the EU Brexit negotiations and Indyref2.

Guests will be given an opportunity to ask panel members questions about the election, what it means for Scotland and their predictions for the future. Join us for an evening of lively discussion and informal networking on Tuesday, 25 July at The Dome in Edinburgh
