Join us for this lunchtime networking event at Research without Borders 2018, hosted by Nishan Canagarajah, Pro Vice-Chancellor for Research and Enterprise at the University of Bristol, and meet our next generation of researchers. You can also explore how your company/organisation could engage with the University of Bristol.

Featuring showcase presentations from some of the inspirational research students involved in the festival, short talks from University staff, including Martin Sadler OBE, the University's Special Advisor on Industrial Strategy. There will be plenty of opportunities to network with colleagues and make new contacts.

The talks and networking lunch will finish at 1:30 pm. You are then invited to explore the Research without Borders 2018 showcase exhibition featuring the work of 100 research students through interactive activities and exhibits.

Format

12 noon – Arrival, lunch and networking

12:30 pm – Welcome from Nishan Canagarajah

12:40 pm – Presentations from research students showcasing their latest work

1:10 pm – Talk from Martin Sadler OBE

1:15 pm – Q&As and networking

1:30 pm to 2:30 pm – Hosted tours around the exhibition (optional)
