If you enjoy history but have not been able to go on one of our walking tours, then experience it from the comfort of Vittles & Company.

Local tour guide and author, Emma Lingard, will give a talk on the romance of the Dowager Countess of Yarborough, and her MFH John Maunsell Richardson, a renowned Victorian jockey and racehorse trainer.

Find out more about this couple and their love story which blossomed over the years, and their home at Healing Manor.

The talk will last 30 to 45 minutes and will be followed by a question and answer session.

Walks take place in all weathers - come dressed accordingly. In the event of severe weather the walk will be cancelled and a new date offered.
