About this Event

This March, The Linnean Society and Stemettes invite you to a STEMtastic celebration of women in STEM - with a particular focus on Science!

Meet the Stemettes @ The Linnean Society is a Stemettes style panel discussion in celebration of some of the inspiring women of The Linnean Society across the vast field of Science.

There are so many career opportunities for people with an interest in nature. In this panel, we'll meet some of the Linnean Society's handpicked professionals from a range of different fields including conservationists, museum curators, educators, expeditioners, research students and science communicators.

We’ll discuss different ways people begin their careers and hear from an impressive panel about their unique experiences in the nature industry. We'll then head over to Microsoft Teams for a follow-on networking session.

We’ll explore career options, A-level choices, university degrees and what our inspiring panellists do at The Linnean Society. You’ll be able to ask the panel questions from the comfort of your home, so grab your free ticket and start getting your snacks ready for an afternoon full of STEMtastic energy!
