About this event

An opportunity for County Gardens Trust (CGT) members to meet each other online and share their experiences of the Covid-19 pandemic and their plans for the future.

It is nearly 5 months since we last met to discuss the effects of the pandemic on CGTs and we thought it would be a good time to convene again to find out how you've been getting on and how you are all feeling about the next 12 months. Have you been able to run your events and research activities near to normal? Or, are you and your CGT members experiencing reluctance to travel, zoom fatigue or not wanting to engage with your trust’s activities? It might be quite the opposite and your members are delighted to be able to meet up again or love an interesting online talk, watched from the comfort of their sitting room chair?

This short meeting, led by GT Chair Peter Hughes, will be a chance for you to share your thoughts and for us to thank you and your committees for the great work done this year under challenging conditions. It will also help us to assess the ongoing and long-term impacts of the pandemic, and to identify what support is needed.

Please note that, as we would like to encourage as many CGTs as possible to attend and for everyone to have an opportunity to join in, we are limiting attendance to CGT Chairs and key personnel.
