About this event

Our book festival for romance lovers, whether you're a reader, writer or both!

We'll be back at the beautiful Home Farm Glamping in Aldernham, Hertfordshire, a short trip from Kings Cross, London, or easily accessible from the M1.

We'll be featuring a mixture of big names and debuts, as well as having bookish stalls, book signings, our brilliant pub quiz, workshops and a whole host of surprises!

We'll be announcing our lineup in the new year, but for now only 100 earlybird tickets are available. These include a free book and a free drink!

Frequently asked questions

Is the site accessible?

Not as much as we'd like, no. We try our best, but there are limitations. Most of the festival will be in the main tent and on the field, which is flat and accessible from disabled car parking. However, some of the festival is in the woodlands, which is harder to navigate.

Can I bring teenagers?

Teens are welcome, we have YA authors talking and will be trying to add more YA elements to our 2026 set up! However, it's worth being aware there may be talk of spice around! This is not an event for kids and as such we ask teens to be 13+

Can I bring my baby?

Babes in arms are welcome. Toddlers or other mobile and opinionated little ones probably aren't best suited to the event! Give yourself the day off and get inspired!

Is there parking?

It's plentiful, it's in a field. It's free.

It's our THIRD YEAR in 2026 and we can't believe how much we've grown! We'll be welcoming 500 romance readers and writers in Home Farm Glamping on Sat 4th July 2026 to celebrate all things romance writing. That means panels, Q+As, industry talks, workshops, book signings, bookish stalls, great food, pub quizzes and lots of interactive delights and surprises in store! Don't miss out!
