Meeting Loss and Grief through the breath
This opening session invites participants to gently begin their journey with grief through the breath. Grief is often held in the body as tension, heaviness, or numbness, and the breath offers a safe way to soften and meet these sensations.
We will begin with grounding and intention-setting, followed by a conscious connected breathwork journey designed to create space for grief to be acknowledged without judgment. Through guided awareness, participants will notice where grief is present in the body and allow it to be expressed through the natural flow of breath.
The session closes with integration practices such as journaling or group reflection, supporting participants to honour what arose and leave with a sense of safety and calm.
Focus: Allowing grief to be seen, felt, and held with compassion.
Outcome: Participants begin to release resistance and connect to their grief in a safe, supported way.
