Coventry Lord Mayor’s Committee for Peace and Reconciliation have organised this public meeting on Saturday 5th March 10.30am till 12 noon to hear the views of the Bishop of Coventry, Christopher Cocksworth who has pressed the UK government to engage constructively with the UN Treaty to Prohibit Nuclear Weapons. Zarah Sultana MP has spoken on the subject of the Nuclear Threat many times. The Meeting is at the United Reformed Church, Warwick Row, Coventry. CV1 1EX
Coventry Lord Mayor’s Committee for Peace and Reconciliation is a representive committee and includes people from a variety of organisations in the city who support its aims. Included in its activities are an Annual Peace Lecture, a commemoration of Hiroshima Day. Exhibitions and recently the updating of the Coventry Peace Trail.
