About this event

  • 1 day 5 hours

There is no doubt that productivity is a very important topic and has been a primary focus for the main political parties for many years. The presence of so many dedicated productivity reviews in the NHS indicates its political significance, but it may also suggest that the real understanding of how productivity really works in practice, might simply not be there.

Join this two-day virtual event to be at the forefront of discussions how the narrative around productivity is changing and how we can make it work, both for those working in the health system and for the people and communities who use health services.

Sessions will bring together individuals and teams across the health system – in systems, providers, clinical teams, and across primary care – to discuss how they are approaching meeting the challenge of increasing productivity and reducing waste in a way that supports an already stretched workforce that is already experiencing (or close to experiencing) burnout. Sessions will also explore how organisations are supporting people to collaborate, work and think differently, and the challenges of developing a culture that supports change and innovation in a sustainable way.

Through presentations, panel debates and case studies, sessions will provide an opportunity to discuss:

  • what the current productivity debate is and how it has changed over time
  • what ‘good’ looks like in terms of productivity across the health system
  • how those working across the health system are approaching improving productivity – what this means for their place in the system, and what others can learn from their experience
  • how working and thinking differently can offer an opportunity to develop an approach that supports change and innovation.

FAQs

Can I pay by invoice?

Yes. Please select your tickets and once you're through to the registration form, you can amend the 'payment method' from credit card to 'pay by invoice' . Please note, there is a £20+VAT surcharge to cover the cost of processing invoices. This is an addition to the ticket price and will be added to your invoice. There is one invoice fee per order, not per ticket. There is no charge for paying by debit or credit card.

What is the refund policy?

Cancellations confirmed in writing more than 14 days before the first live session will be refunded in full via the same payment method.
